Welcome to the British Shohin Association – the first and only Shohin based society in the UK.
The idea behind the BSA is an appreciation society, to promote the cultivation, aesthetics and display of the smaller sizes of bonsai and to let people know just how wonderful and enjoyable this side of bonsai actually is.
We invite anyone with an interest in Shohin, Mame and Chuhin sizes of bonsai and indeed anyone with a keen interest in bonsai generally to join our forward thinking association.
Members receive a regular newsletter and discounts from many bonsai retailers. The association holds an annual show/exhibition and regularly exhibits at most major events in the UK.

BSA Membership gives you a quarterly newsletter that provides information on cultivation, demonstrations along with up to the minute news and events on Shohin around the UK and beyond. Also included are the special BSA mug, membership card and free entry to our prestigious annual exhibition.
